Her Time Team Members
I created Her Time Therapy, LLC to provide a safe and therapeutic space for women facing some of the most challenging moments of their lives. Women's reality is so often characterized by a lack of support accompanied by overwhelming responsibility, pressure, and scrutiny. If you're burdened by anxiety, depression, stress, career or college issues, relationship problems, or a significant life event such as a cancer diagnosis, trauma, or the death of a loved one, you're in the right place. I've been there. I've lived through it, and I know you can too. I look forward to partnering with you on your journey to healing and self-empowerment.
I'm Julie Noyes and I am excited to be a part of your mental health and empowerment journey. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who believes you are the expert on yourself. I specialize in individual therapy for children, adolescents, and adults, and am particularly passionate about helping women overcome trauma and religious abuse. I know the unique pressures women face to be all things to all people and it is my hope that together we can sort out what a rich, full, and meaningful life looks like for you.
I am honored to walk alongside you on your journey to deeper self-awareness, empowerment, and trust. I believe that healing begins with an empathic relationship and co-creating a therapeutic space that feels safe. From this common ground, we can then explore your inner landscape in order to identify unhealthy relational patterns, locate your needs and ultimately develop self-trust. As a contemplative art therapist, I also emphasize creative expression, experiential process, and spirituality as a means of self-discovery. I am particularly passionate about working with clients experiencing anxiety, ADHD, grief, relationship issues, trauma, and women’s issues.
Our paths take us to a myriad of places, each creating a story that intricately weaves the web of our lives. It is my job to partner with you as we traverse through stuck points like trauma, depression, relationship issues, low self-esteem, gender/sexuality identity questioning, and academic or career struggles to illuminate your keys to self-empowerment, self-efficacy, and self-healing. I'm passionate about working with teens and adults and am ready to partner with you to act as a guide on the journey to wholeness and arrival at your true authentic self.
I'm Shana Dobson, a licensed professional counselor candidate. I’m so proud of you for taking this step in your journey to seeking mental peace. I possess experience in working with individuals across the life span with developmental & intellectual disabilities, behavioral challenges, anxiety, trauma, and systemic based oppression. I'm particularly passionate about working with competitive athletes and those struggling with issues related to intersectionality or difficulty in navigating the justice system. I look forward to helping you heal and process whatever is holding you back from living a life you love and consider it to be an honor to have the opportunity to partner with you in the therapy journey.
Navigating life can be a struggle, and we all need extra support periodically.I strive to build an authentic therapeutic relationship through active listening, education, empowerment, mindfulness, creative arts, and awareness. As we collaborate, you will discover unique tools and strategies to help yourself heal, grow, and regain your joy in life. I have experience working with teens and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, chronic health issues, grief, career exploration, and life transitions.
Are you facing challenges around fertility, experiencing difficulty in your perinatal/postpartum period, or struggling under the weight of motherhood? Perhaps you’re feeling disconnected from who you once were due to a life transition, loss of a loved one, or a shift in your relationship. Or, you might not be entirely sure what led you to seek therapy—you just know you want to feel better. I’ve been there too. There is hope in turning toward your pain, embracing life’s complexities, and finding your peace within—and I’m ready to help you on your path to healing.
Are you struggling just to get through the day? Maybe you're feeling stuck or lost with anger, frustration, or hopelessness. If you are going through an unfortunate transition in life and don’t know where to turn, I can help you process your grief, cope with difficult feelings, and teach you techniques that can help improve the quality of your life by providing a non-judgmental, person-centered environment. I believe negative situations can be used as a catalyst for change, growth, and self-improvement. By deepening the mind, body, and spirit connection, there is greater potential for growth, healing, and a higher quality of life.
As a woman, I understand what it’s like to feel overwhelmed and unsure. I will bring empathy and a collaborative approach to our work together, tailoring my techniques to meet your unique needs. Whether you’re seeking balance, clarity, or deeper self-awareness, we’ll work together to identify what matters most to you and take meaningful steps toward the life you want to create—fostering growth, balance, and fulfillment along the way.
I am bilingual in Spanish and English, and I’m honored to be part of your healing journey. We all have a story, and within yours, there may be experiences of stress, grief, trauma, loss, pain, or difficult transitions. My goal is to join you in re-authoring your story—one that promotes empowerment and a sense of agency, fostering personal growth and healing. I specialize in working with adult refugees and immigrants from diverse cultural backgrounds, and I have a deep passion for supporting individuals who have experienced or are currently experiencing childhood trauma, acculturative stress, grief, academic-based stress, and life transitions. Immigrants and women of color often face systemic challenges. I aim to create a safe, collaborative space where you can feel understood and supported as we work together to meet your unique needs.
