My Approach to Therapy:
It’s my belief that humans are incredibly resilient and sometimes just need a little help to regroup. I also believe that negative situations can be used as a catalyst for change, growth, and self-improvement. By deepening the mind, body, and spirit connection, there is greater potential for growth, healing, and a higher quality of life. We as humans are incredibly resilient, and sometimes we just need a little help reconnecting with our inner knowing.

I am client-centered and utilize ketamine-assisted therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Emotion Focused Therapies (EFT). Additionally, as a 200-hour yoga certified instructor, I offer a combination of therapies like breath work and somatic movement with an emphasis on the mind-body connection. We can work together to achieve your goals and find peace.
My Ideal Client:
I most enjoy working with adults struggling to improve their sense of belonging and connectedness in romantic relationships, family dynamics, friendships, or even co-workers. I also work with those struggling with chronic or terminal illness, anxiety, trauma, and grief.

I specialize in change and transition throughout life, and I love teaching my clients how to find coping strategies. Ask yourself: Are you suffering from relationship issues? Are you depressed and struggling from a breakup or divorce? Have you had a series of emotionally abusive relationships? Are you grieving the loss of a relationship ending? If your answer to any of these is "yes," I'm excited to walk the path toward healing with you!
The Concerns I Specialize in Treating:
Counseling for Anxiety
Anxiety can manifest in various ways, from persistent worry and fear to physical symptoms that interfere with daily life. It can be debilitating and impact your ability to function and enjoy life. I am dedicated to helping you understand the roots of your anxiety and develop effective coping strategies. Utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and other therapeutic approaches, we will work to reduce your anxiety and improve your overall sense of well-being. My aim is to empower you with tools and techniques to manage stress and regain control over your life.
My Story:
I am originally from New Jersey, and I have always loved working with people! Before becoming a psychotherapist, I worked in education for twenty years and have experience supporting teachers, adolescents, administrators, and parents. In my work as a teacher, I often found myself incorporating social-emotional learning into health and fitness curriculums, which gave me a taste of what it would be like to be a counselor. I have always wanted to be a therapist, and Covid gave me the guts to follow my heart in this endeavor and gain the skills needed to serve people in a different way. I am very grateful to be rerouted to a career that is beyond rewarding and I am honored to get the opportunity to work with my clients individually on a much deeper level.

My main hobby outside of therapy is outdoor sports. When possible, I prefer to experience life on two wheels, skis, or a surfboard. One fun fact about me is that I once biked from Canada to Mexico—but it was all downhill!
